I picked up my mother’s Pentax K1000 in the mid 2000’s, it was the camera she took everywhere with her to document the lives of my siblings and I growing up. It’s the camera that grew along with me as a person.
Taking photos has given me an outlet for capturing how I see the world. It allows me to connect with those I would’ve otherwise ignored, let’s me walk through my life with meaning, and helps me see the beauty and magic amongst us.
